TFR Focus Ep. 12: Stranger Things & Mindhunter

Welcome back to The First Run Focus! This time Matt & Chris will be discussing the Netflix shows ‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 and ‘Mindhunter’ Season 1. First up are season premieres for both. It’s October of 1984, about a year later for our pals in Hawkins Indiana. Will is back with his family and friends. He seems to be okay, except for the occasionally horrifying vision of giant inter-dimensional spider monsters.
Then we go further back in time to 1977 for the David Fincher helmed ‘Mindhunter’. The show explores the beginning of the FBI’s shift to deeper behavioral analysis when assessing the motivations, or lack there of, for murders.
