Feel like dropping us a note and telling us how great we're doing?  Or maybe that we have no idea what the heck we're doing and should shut down the whole thing?   Perhaps just a suggestion or two?

Well, drop us a line and let us know!  Don't be shy.  We can take it.  Especially if it's praise.  We eat that stuff up!

TFR Ep. 352: Guardians Of The Galaxy, Vol. 2, Don’t Think Twice, The Lounge

Chris Scalzo

On this week’s episode of The First Run, Matt & Chris review one of the most anticipated films of 2017, ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy, Vol. 2’!  We pick up 6 months after the events of the first film and Peter Quill has finally found his Dad!  But things are not always what they seem.  Because if they were, we’d have a 20 minute movie. The success of the first film was its originality and overall feeling of something fresh and new.  But now that we’re in sequel territory, do we still feel the same?  Next up is Mike Birbiglia’s ‘Don’t Think Twice’, starring Keegan Michael Key, Gillian Jacobs, and a bunch of other great comedians as they struggle to keep their improv comedy troupe alive and make it big, while dealing with the “real” life around them.  As always, there’s the rundown of the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Streaming and Straight To DVD Picks of the Week!  The show then wraps with the return of ‘The Lounge’, our open discussion forum focusing this time on the Hellboy relaunch, who should the Xenomorphs fight next, and the obligatory MCU Film Ranking.  Excelsior, True Believers!
