Welcome to the premiere episode of The First Run Focus. This irregular series starts with a weekly discussion of AMC’s latest series, ‘Preacher’. The show is based on the classic graphic novel series created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. ‘Preacher’ features a small town Texas preacher named Jesse Custer as he deals with a new found ability that forces people to obey his commands, in a very literal sense. He’s joined by Cassidy, a vampire on the run from…something. And then there’s Tulip. Jesse’s ex-girlfriend who has some grand scheme she’s trying to rope him into.
