Feel like dropping us a note and telling us how great we're doing?  Or maybe that we have no idea what the heck we're doing and should shut down the whole thing?   Perhaps just a suggestion or two?

Well, drop us a line and let us know!  Don't be shy.  We can take it.  Especially if it's praise.  We eat that stuff up!

TFR Ep. 362: Atomic Blonde, Valerian, The Little Hours, What Are The Odds?

Chris Scalzo

This week on The First Run, Chris and Matt discuss the new actioner, ‘Atomic Blonde’.  Charlize Theron stars as the Atomic Blonde as she kicks but all over Berlin.  On both sides of the wall.  Do we have a new franchise on our hands?  Chris also shares his thoughts on ‘The Little Hours’, starring Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, and Kate Micucci.  The film is an adaptation of the first and second stories from Giovanni Boccaccio’s The Decameron.  The trio plays a group of nuns just trying to get by and have a good time. Possibly the most reductive synopsis ever.  Chris also watched ‘Valerian & The City Of A Thousand Planets’ and he was not a fan.  Is it time to have a serious discussion about Mr. Dane Dehaan?  There’s the obligatory run down of Blu-Ray and DVD Picks, featuring the Straight To DVD and Streaming Picks Of The Week.  Finally the show wraps with the return of your favorite odds maker game, ‘What Are The Odds?’  What’s up with that new Death Wish remake? When will Ben Affleck leave the DCEU?  And will the Terminator franchise find new life?  Matt & Chris lay down the odds.
