Feel like dropping us a note and telling us how great we're doing?  Or maybe that we have no idea what the heck we're doing and should shut down the whole thing?   Perhaps just a suggestion or two?

Well, drop us a line and let us know!  Don't be shy.  We can take it.  Especially if it's praise.  We eat that stuff up!

TFR Ep. 382: The Post, The Babysitter, 2017 In Review

Chris Scalzo

This week on The First Run, Matt & Chris discuss the latest from Steven Spielberg, ‘The Post’.  Starring Meryl Streep as Kay Graham and Tom Hanks as Ben Bradlee.  The film tells the story of the Washington Post’s decision to publish the Pentagon Papers, and everything that lead up to that momentous decision in the Nixon era.  With an all star cast, the film seems bound for Oscar nominations.  Is that an issue?

Then it’s on to the Netflix original, ‘The Babysitter’, starring Samara Weaving and Judah Lewis, directed by…who?!?  Ever wonder what happened when you had a babysitter after you went to bed?  Could you have imagined ritual sacrifice to the dark lord Satan?  Stay up with young Cole and try to survive the kookiest sleepover ever!  There’s the dependable review of the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Straight to DVD and Streaming Picks of the Week!

Finally it’s our 2017 wrap up!  Chris and Matt review some of the big events that comprised Hollywood in 2017 all in anticipation of next weeks Top Ten Films of 2017.  Buckle up, True Believers!  These next couple of shows are going to be humdingers!
