Feel like dropping us a note and telling us how great we're doing?  Or maybe that we have no idea what the heck we're doing and should shut down the whole thing?   Perhaps just a suggestion or two?

Well, drop us a line and let us know!  Don't be shy.  We can take it.  Especially if it's praise.  We eat that stuff up!

TFR Ep. 414: Searching, Fist Of Fury, 2018 Summer Bracket Recap

Chris Scalzo

This week on The First Run, Chris and Matt watch the tech thriller ‘Searching’.  Jon Cho plays a single dad desperate to find his missing daughter.  Is the film hampered or improved by it’s conceit of being an online screens only presentation?  (BTW, ‘gimmick’ was the word I couldn’t remember).  Then it’s the beginning of our Martial Arts Marathon with Bruce Lee’s ‘Fist Of Fury’.  Bruce plays Chen Zhen, the best student at his dojo out to avenge the death of his master and creeping Japanese imperialism in Shanghai.  There’s the always-reliable rundown of the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Streaming and Straight to DVD Picks of the Week.  Then the show wraps with the revisiting of the 2018 Summer Bracket we did way back on Episode 396 on May 1st.  Which film will rule them all?  Solo, Jurassic World, Sicario 2, Upgrade?  So many options!  How right and wrong were Matt and Chris?  Listen on to find out!
