This week on The First Run, Chris and Matt are joined by returning champion Erik Gern of the ‘Full Of Fried Fish’ blog to discuss THE cinematic event of April, and likely May. The first/twenty second chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes to a close with ‘Avengers: Endgame’. It’s been 11 years with and 22 movies, none of which were deemed rotten on the Rotten Tomatoes site. But can it possibly live up to all of the hype? There will be a spoiler-free discussion to open the show, with a spoiler-filled segment as well, all time coded for your listening enjoyment. There’s the tried and true rundown of the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Straight to DVD and Streaming Picks of the Week. Then our final segment focuses on what Marvel storylines should be adapted next? Who lives? Who Dies? What are the cool Easter Eggs? It’s going to be a big one (though likely not 3+ hours. But don’t dare me, because we can do this all day.
