Feel like dropping us a note and telling us how great we're doing?  Or maybe that we have no idea what the heck we're doing and should shut down the whole thing?   Perhaps just a suggestion or two?

Well, drop us a line and let us know!  Don't be shy.  We can take it.  Especially if it's praise.  We eat that stuff up!

TFR Ep. 511: Relic, World On A Wire, 5 Best Sci-Fi Films (1980-1989)

Chris Scalzo

This week on The First Run, Chris and Matt discuss the dementia-based horror film, ‘Relic’.  Emily Mortimer stars as a woman dealing with her mother’s dementia, and the impact it has on her and her own daughter.  Oh, and there’s something super creepy happening too!  The International Sci-Fi Marathon continues with the German miniseries, ‘World On A Wire’.  A film that answers the question: “What if we’re all just part of a computer program, man…?!?”. But in German.  And long.  Then there’s the venerable review of the big physical media releases, featuring the Straight to DVD and Streaming Picks of the Week.  The big show then wraps with Matt and Chris sharing their 5 Favorite Sci-Fi films from 1980 to 1989.  So just how cliched can the guys’ list get?  Take a listen to find out!
