Masters Of The Universe Remake Gets A New Writer, Is Not Orko

"I...can't...poop!!!"

Based on the constantly constipated looking toyline from the 80’s and causing confusion in adolescent boys for years, He-Man and The Masters Of The Universe remake actually moved forward today.  Sony Pictures and Escape Artists have signed Christopher Yost to do a re-write on their existing script.

Yost initially started on some Marvel animated films before adding some ideas to the ‘Thor’ film, and then polishing up “Thor: The Dark World”.  He was then asked to co-write the third Thor film, ‘Ragnarok”.  Listeners to the show know of my overall lack of affection for the Thor films, so we’ll see what he can come up with.  Maybe He-Man and friends will finally get out of development hell. 

In the meantime, who’s your favorite He-Man supporting character?  And no, Skeletor doesn’t count.  I’m talking Moss Man, Trapjaw, Stinkor.  I’m leaning towards Man-E-Faces.  We can talk film casting when we’re a little farther along.
